Just because I've been following this for a little while, which candidates are still active and involved in this Practical Test? From what I've read, there are 15 candidates that passed the last test, as indicated by Cedie's post on the Theoretical Test. I'm also slightly confused as to how this Practical Test determines the Kage for certain villages. If there are 15 candidates, that means that there is a chance that most villages only have one candidate. If that's the case, what's the point in having those candidates, with no opposition, competing in the Practical Test? I might be missing something here or skipped over something, but I would like to clear it up. I can see the point of having Kage candidates of the same village face each other, just not candidates with 0 competition.

So people with no competition should get a free pass?
I'd rather not have a kage that might be bad in-game tbh
And it's more fair to have everyone do it.

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a combat test for them. I just don't see the point in them being in this particular contest. And they wouldn't be getting a free pass if they had already passed the elections and passed the Theoretical Test on top of being given some other type of combat based test.

actually, it's not like one village's kage candidates fight among themselves, all the kage candidates form two teams, no matter the village, and fight it out, well there can be more than 2 teams, but yeah, you get the idea

And after they fight it out? What does that decide besides the fact that someone can or can't fight. That's the part I'm confused about. Does the losing team not become Kage? Is there a test after this and if so, does the winning team get some kind of advantage on it?

Didn't they need to get a certain amount of points before even being allowed to be a kage?
The losing team still gains points but less.

It's all based on the amount of kills/points you get. Being on a bad team doesn't necessarily mean you won't get as many points considering it will be easier to get kills if no one else on your team gets them.

Also, just because you're the only candidate - doesn't mean you'll get the spot. You'll need to get a certain amount of points overall between all the tests to pass and become kage.

As I've said before, I'm pretty sure only a certain 3 people will become kage due to their above average skills in game and in the theoretical tests.

I'm starting to understand. So if, for example, only three people become Kage then will there be more tests for the other 8 villages that have no Kage?

Yeah, someone isn't just going to be made kage because they're the only one running. The kage spots are held until a suitable candidate appears
