All I know is certain members will be picked to start in ocean.
I'd like to know more though.

@Vreg has anything been planned/set in stone or is it worthwhile for the community to brainstorm ideas.

I think it's a cool idea to start in the Hidden Ocean, however, it brings up the question: is the Hidden Ocean a complete village? Can we elect a Kage for it? What are the natures? Will there be a combination for it?

Strikes me as a sort of village similar to that of the samurai from naruto.
Not a full ninja village but could have strong fighters

Reminds me of the Hoshi village (Village hidden in the stars), it isn't located on the map but they have their own release and some powerful shinobi.

If I was designing the village, I would make it possible for them to get double water affinity. If they do, their water style would be ridiculously strong and they would get secret village techniques for water style.

How about a kekkei tota?
I mean Hidden Ocean is going to be special right?
They should be able to mix Water with wind and one more nature.
OR
Some weird KKG like Salt release :3 (I mean cut them enemies and sprinkle salt on there wounds )
and summon sea creatures and legendary beasts (like Remi's kraken)
