Chakra natures compulsory by village

I want to know! if we can only choose a chakra nature thats permitted in our village, like earth and wind in the dust, or can your primary nature be whatever you like?

Idk, I was originally under the impression it was that way (which is why I set up my clan as I did) but apparently we can be from any according to popular concensus.

yea, i thought that to but then i read the villages and chakra nature stuff. honestly i'd like to get water as my primary affinity. but thinking about it, i hope i to get fire as the second. but we also might both end up with dirt bending abilities as a second affinity

Well dirt bending is fine when it's secondary. It's when it's the primary that causes mutations and disabilities.

Your village doesn't stop you from having the chakra nature of your dreams. Each village has its own traditional natures which can lead to a mix peculiar to the villagers. However, you are not obliged to use any particular nature because of your village of  choice. You can be from the hidden inferno and have a primary affinity for water,its your choice.
