I think vreg said somewhere, shoutbox or an actual post, that there might be  sage mode present in Shinobi Life Online. but there wont be any summoning. so what i tought is that u become sage of your first or secondary chakra nature. like e.g: The great fire sage, the great water sage or maybe the great sage of the ocean. just some example names tho, so dont criticize them

I think, if ever there would be a sage mode. that to preform the justu should require matts and the combination of chakra to perform the certain justu.

*sigh of relief* Lol good thing you didn't mean maths, I woulda never been able to master sage mode that way. But on a serious note, I think using SM will just require you to master it, no materials whatsoever.

Sage mode in Shinobi Life Online will be the act of mastering natural chakra, no talking animals etc.

And can't it be related to an animal at all, I mean to change your look like Kabuto for example?

Nope, simply mastering natural chakra which will be on of the hardest tasks out there though and it will have about the same advantages and disadvantages as you can see in Naruto.
