Good or evil at heart?: Usually cruel & dark hearted.. But deep inside him, light shines from times to times. This light emerges into complete form in which he'd do whatever possible to protect something he loves, a friend, i guess i can say.

Description of the character's personality: Mysterious, easy going, sometimes stubborn & usually one step ahead of others when it comes to thinking.

Description of the character's history: Sasori, is.. or, should i say was an easygoing, light hearted & open minded child.
He lived with his father in an old, often abandoned dojo.
Sasori's father had always seen potential inside his son's eyes, he always said that 'there was something about him'..
His father, Otake Tetzuka was a respected, loved & well known Shinobi for his out-standing genjutsu, combined with low-leveled distraction ninjutsu skills. His power was feared, and a hundred percent original, just like the majority of the skilled Amegakure shinobi.
Afterall, It is a hidden village that one by one raises the ability of its shinobi, in turn working out original techniques.
During the second shinobi world war, Hanzō (Amegakure's leader), went out against Konohagakure and unfortunately, Amegakure lost the battle.
While the Third Shinobi World War was raging, a group from Amegakure began advocating peace. Sasori's father, Otake was one of the group. When the group became large and popular enough, Hanzō saw this as a threat to his rule. He allied with Danzō Shimura of Konohagakure to have the group eliminated for once and for all. Hanzō lured them to an ambush by claiming to be interested in their ideas and the group's public leader was killed just before Otake risking his life, using a clone to distract the raging ambush, for a moment.. he thought it was success and he was clear to proceed to using his 'Eternal Pain Genjutsus'.
But how wrong he was, Hanzo had sneaked behind him, personally killing him, slashing him with his Kusarigama's sickle. With hate & darkness controlling the light that once shone inside his eyes, Otake dropped dead.
Three days later, his father's unfortunate news had reached him. Sasori froze as if he couldn't move a single muscle, soon blacking out.
Upon regaining consciousness, The poor fourteen year old was hopeless. Hatred raged inside him, but everytime that happened, .. deep sadness washed over it.
The villagers have found out about it way before the hopeless, sad child, but it was time already to make a move.
Four of his father's true friends had moved him out to an orphanage, where he was quiet and alone, the entire time.
Upon Otogakure's snake-like Sanin, Orochimaru finding out about the death of the legendary Amegakure shinobi, Orochimaru took this chance to send some of his ninjas to capture Sasori.
During the abduction of Otake's son, the orphanage in which Sasori stayed in was secured by some Amegakure nin, whom managed to take down some of Orochimaru's men right before their own death. With Sasori remembering the words of his father, once warning him about how one day he will be wanted & captured. Sasori flee, clinging into his life just before Orochimaru personally appearing in-front of him. Upon Sasori receiving one of Orochimaru's Juinjutsu, The Cursed Seal Of Heaven, Sasori releases a terrifying scream filled with pain, pain and nothing more but pain.. Just minutes later, Sasori blacks out and the abduction plan is marked as success.
Upon years of Orochimaru's horrible lies, about how Sasori's father had entrusted his own son into the hands of the sneaky snake-like shinobi, Ten years later, after being fully trained by Orochimaru, the light that once shone within Sasori had been wiped off. His real personality was burnt into fantasy while reality faded away, darkness.. hate & loving only the dark within his new alias, 'Saiga' has become the-so-called reality.
..
But.. is that enough?.. Is it enough, to crush Sasori's kind spirit?.. No, .. Sasori still holds potential.. the potential to escape from this darkness and shift back into his true- or should i say, his other personality?..
